Raystown 2011 Reservations

Ok how many sites are looking at for next year ? I know that the Ohio guys will be there and I will send them mail to let me know. I do believe that they will do the same as this year as to hold a block of sites for so long and then decide if we need all of them or need to let some go. Do we want to go back to the same sites if still open ? They were good sites as far as if you wanted to walk to the ramp. Lake side sites are already booked. If I remember right we had said that the date would be the same time next year, and that would be the 24th of July and take the weekend. I now have a guy that has a cabin up there, lives 25 miles from Raystown, his family has been going there for 40 years and he gave me a lot of info today as to places to go and said he would be in touch with me. Funny how talking in a bar people respond to what you are talking about. They are headed up there next week for 2 weeks. I need to know the # of sites asap as Michelle is waiting for my call and we go from there. Once again this is just a tentive count and we will not be locked into anything until 2 months prior. Conceern is that we need to hold sites as they go fast up there. When we left within 2 hours the sites we had were taken again. This is a popular place.

Ok here is the deal for the summer camping trip at raystown in 2011. As you know this is a popular area, si in talking to Michelle today I booked 8 sites in my name under her direction. Sites are going fast as they have changed there policy on reservations. Now you can book a site for any year now. As you know from being there the place does fill up. I was also informed that if we (the club ) plan on coming back each year I can have a standing reservation on the sites for the up coming years. Those of you that were there is year know how the places is laid out. So I have booked 8 sites all in the loop we had last year. This coming year we get the site on the corner ( that was nest to Joe ) So we have sites 46,23, 25, 27, 29,34, and 29 and 37. So we have the whole side of the loop and the one site that I had across the street. I have these booked with the understanding that if we don't need them I can drop them. But as of now we already have 5 sites taken, so that leaves only 3 to go. The dates for the trip will be July 22nd, that being a friday. Same for this year if you want to go up early that is not a problem. She told me the place is filling up fast as they have been taking bookings since March of this year for next year. It is a hot spot to go to. So with that in mind we have the camp sites booked and I will be getting the comtract in the mail as last year and it will confirm the sites. So that will take of that until the first part of next year. Site asigment will be later, but if you want the same site this coming year let me know, as I will need to let them know who is going where, but that won't be until in July. Big John will be going in site 37 tho. the sites on the otherside of the loop are already booked. So plans are underway. Whoever gets the event coord. I will work with you on this one, as most of it is set up already. Just a matter of getting the money collected an sending them a check, then the food list lits starts.

I beleive my parents will be coming with the coach also this coming year im waiting for verification so that would be 6 1/2
